Are you passionate about our oceans and keen to work with businesses in supporting fisheries who have met our globally recognised standard for sustainability?

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Polish and Central Europe team who can support leading brands, retailers and foodservice businesses to bring sustainable seafood to Poland and Central Europe consumers.

You will play a key role supporting delivery of the MSC programme by providing further MSC eco-labelled product on both retail packs and restaurant menus. As Poland and Central Europe is one of the most dynamic MSC markets, with growing consumer awareness on the challenges faced by our oceans, there is ample opportunity to increase the delivery of MSC certified sustainable fish and seafood to consumers.

We are a dynamic team and have set ambitious targets for increasing the availability of certified sustainable seafood that meets our Standard.

You will have a key role supporting the work and activities that the Polish team has been successfully delivering in the market.  You will participate in multiple projects, building relationships with our partners and liaising closely with the Polish team, as well as other MSC teams across our global network.

This role is an opportunity to combine strategic thinking with a ‘hands-on’ approach to drive positive change in the seafood sector and deliver on MSC’s ambitious objectives.

We’re looking for someone who:

  •    has a university degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain Sustainability or Resource Management with a commercial and service-oriented attitude
  • has proven experience building relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • has a good understanding of sustainability and ecolabeling and is eager to help others make more conscious choices
  • is capable of delivering positive commercial outcomes for both partners and the organisation
  • has a passion for sustainability and an interest in the health of the world’s oceans
  • has a technical and commercial mindset, to apply the MSC’s traceability standards and licensing rules effectively
  • is capable of ensuring MSC’s value proposition remains strong and meets the needs of our commercial partners.

If this has inspired you, please click on the apply button and send in your current CV in English and a covering letter, stating your gross annual salary expectations!

We look forward to hearing from you!

As part of the selection process, you will be asked to prepare a task and questions around it might be asked on the first interview stage.
